Before Christmas I reviewed Greg Bourke’s Under Silkwood for The Pineapple. Yes that’s right, the title is a nod to Dylan Thomas’ Under Milkwood. It escapes categorisation but I called it a psychological mystery. Set in tropical north Queensland it shimmers with steamy heat, intrigue, passion and romance but there are shadowy elements and dodgy dealings. My review can be found here, at The Pineapple.
